Look #5: Black Hand-Sewn Asymmetrical Patchwork Dress (Via WWD)

In September I was invited to Tony Cohen’s runway show but didn’t make it, so I made sure to go this year. Maybe sitting front row helps, but this collection is one I’d like to hang in my closet come fall. Tony Cohen created my ideal edgy yet girly look: draped dresses and chic trench coats over leggings, flowing tunics over leather pants, and booties, booties, and more booties. I also love the models’ pin-straight hair. Expect to see me channeling Tony Cohen Fall 2009–or trying to, anyways–out and about on U Street in October.
